Warhammer 40,000 5th edition rulebook
Warhammer 40,000 – also known with abbreviations such as Warhammer 40K and 40K – is a popular tabletop miniature wargame that has been published since 1987 by Games Workshop. It was originally created as a future spin-off from Warhammer Fantasy Battle, another miniature game published since 1983 by the same company. The Warhammer 40,000 rules are currently in the 5th edition (since 2008), and the setting has branched into a number of board games, role-playing games, video games, comics and novels.
Relic has been involved with the 40K franchise since 2004, when their acclaimed Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War real-time strategy game was released; the Dawn of War series has since expanded to 7 titles, and in 2011 they moved into another genre with Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.
